Robot Escape

As a defective robot, you were dumped in the junkyard and fell lower and lower from year to year. After a seemingly endless search, you’ve finally found a way to climb the mountains of trash – an old weapon with enough recoil to propel you to the top. Climb until you reach the end, or more likely, your death by the acidic garbage bags tumbling down the hill.

Robot Escape was the first game I worked on during my bachelor studies. It was also the first game that I worked on with a team of others – we called ourselves MidnightMagic, because of the late-night coding sessions, where some coding magic surely was happening. In this team I took on the role of programmer.

The game was developed within three days using Unity and C#. As the sole programmer of the project, I wrote the entire code and I’m still proud of the movement physics.
